IYA Inauguration

ABAA has been very busy with activities this year. ABAA has been doing lots of activities over the years--thirty three years to be exact--this year was little special. This year ABAA celebrated IYA, packed with activities like outreach, astronomy talks, astronomy course, telescope making workshop, astronomy trip etc,. Although the outreach programs were in full swing as part of IYA, ABAA had its official inauguration in the month of March. This was very successful event in many ways, to name a few, bringing members under one roof, in getting new members who joined hands in ABAA's effort and in charting out events for the year. The event was well planned and executed by members, showing ABAA as always work as one. As its evident from the photos it was a color full event, an event celebrated by a big family called ABAA. The event also showcased telescopes of members and astrophotos taken over the years.
